In 2018, the Australian Government announced funding for an information sharing system to enable the Australian Taxation Office to provide superannuation information to the family law courts when a party to a family law property proceeding has failed to disclose information.

For further information about this measure which commenced on 1 April 2022, see Superannuation splitting.

Details about how a party can apply to make use of this information sharing system are available on the websites of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and the Family Court of Western Australia.
