Australian Government response to the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Social Policy and Legal Affairs report: Roundtable on Surrogacy

In February and March 2015, the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Social Policy and Legal Affairs hosted two roundtables on surrogacy arrangements. The roundtables considered broad questions around the regulation and practice of surrogacy in Australia, and issues surrounding international surrogacy arrangements.

On 24 March 2015, the Standing Committee published its report titled Roundtable on Surrogacy.

The government’s response was tabled on 3 December 2015.
