Ongoing professional development for Commonwealth-registered marriage celebrants in 2018 and beyond

This paper was developed following consultation with celebrants, their representatives, training organisations and other key stakeholders including state and territory registries of births, deaths and marriages (BDMs) and aspiring marriage celebrants. In addition, the Attorney-General’s Department held further discussions with celebrant representatives in May 2017 and with the current Ongoing professional development (OPD) panel in June 2017, about the contents of this paper.
