Review of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia Act 2021

Review

A review of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia Act 2021 (the FCFCOA Act) commenced on 2 September 2024. The review is required by section 284 of the FCFCOA Act.

The Attorney-General appointed the Hon Linda Dessau AC CVO and Professor Helen Rhoades OAM to conduct the review. 

A report of the review is due to be provided to the Attorney-General on or before 1 March 2025. The report is required to be tabled in Parliament within 15 sitting days of receipt.
