Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975: obligation to assist the tribunal

The Office of Legal Services Coordination (OLSC) has prepared guidance notes to help agencies to comply with their obligations under the Legal Services Directions 2017.

The obligation on a Commonwealth agency to ‘use its best endeavours to assist the tribunal to make its decision’.  What does this mean?
