The Professional Development Committee of the Australian Government Legal Network (AGLN) in conjunction with the Office of Parliamentary Counsel conducted free seminars in Canberra during 2018 on policy related topics.
Legislative systems are designed to achieve policy outcomes. A new idea needs to be implemented or a problem with an existing scheme needs to be fixed. But how do we build legislative systems to produce new policy outcomes? This seminar will give three perspectives on that task.
