The Consumer Survey on Online Copyright Infringement measures changes in how Australian internet users consume online copyright content.

It surveys activities across several core content types, including:

  • music
  • movies
  • TV programs
  • video games
  • live sport

The 2023 Consumer Survey on Online Copyright Infringement is the eighth survey commissioned. It measures the:

  • extent of changes in the consumption of copyright content online
  • prevalence of, and emerging trends in, online copyright infringement
  • motivations for infringement.

The final report of the 2023 survey is available to access above, along with a higher-level presentation on the survey findings.
