Portfolio Additional Estimates Statements 2024–25

The 2024-25 Portfolio Additional Estimates Statements (PAES) inform Senators and Members of Parliament how entities within the portfolio propose to allocate resources to government outcomes. The Portfolio Budget Statements (PB Statements) share this same purpose.
The PB Statements and the PAES have one important difference in focus. The PAES do include an entity resource statement showing the revised estimate of the total resources available to an entity. But unlike the PB Statements, they focus on explaining the changes in resourcing by outcomes since the Budget.
The PAES provide information on new measures and how they impact the financial and non-financial planned performance of programs supporting those outcomes.
