This is why the Government has developed a new five year National Action Plan to Combat Modern Slavery 2020–25, which sets the strategic direction of Australia’s response to these crimes. The National Action Plan to Combat Modern Slavery 2020-25 was launched on 9 December, 2020 by the Assistant Minister for Customs, Community Safety and Multicultural Affairs, The Hon.
